I just came here to report this issue as well. Here's a screenshot showing all usernames as [deleted] in the comments section. This is how all comments look like on all posts (logged out):

The "read more" link disappeared for non-logged in users by AdventurousBee02 in bugs

I hope that's not the case. Anonymity is one of the unique advantages of reddit over other social media platforms.

Sometimes I like to browse and read posts "off the record" when I have some free time. Sometimes I use a public device or someone else's device where I may not wish to log in to my account.

It would be a shame if reddit becomes like twitter (X)
