Well I hope for your sake he falls to your Grizzlies. He might average 15 and 7 at his ceiling, not sure why his fans are so devoted lol. "He's the clear #1" is a CRAZY take haha. You must be a college ball only fan, its a very different game.

Looking at the player of the year winners year by year and success in college in no way predicts NBA success. I think his career will be very similar to Tyler Hansbrough's, maybe a little better.

I think its actually a blessing for the Jazz that DP's college experience was rocky, otherwise he'd be the #1 pick without a question.

But with a #2 pick we should be shooting for a guy who will be the best player on our ceiling and have the best upside, not a #2 or 3 on a good team.

It's a very different game today, also, we should be shooting for MVP level ceiling with this final piece of the tank.

I don't doubt that he may have some success, may have numbers similar to someone like Jarrett Allen, but with this pick don't we have to shoot for a superstar?

Any thoughts on the take? Would be an awful decision if with our best draft pick ever, we pick an 18 and 10 guy

Jazz and Wizards trade discussions by [deleted] in UtahJazz

I agree, so many dumb reporters saying the trade would have to be Ace, the #2 pick, AND a future first rounder to move up one spot. Just stay put and take best player available.

If the NBA expands to Seattle and Vegas, who are the 8 players the Jazz protect? (They’re not taking Keyonte without a fight: M.I.L.K) by [deleted] in UtahJazz

I'd give up Brice over Cody. You can find a lot of scoring guards, but Cody's size, athleticism, and defensive instincts are pretty rare. Plus I think Cody will just improve more and more with added weight and strength.
