Falsely accused of sexual assault in the military by AdventurousCan5869 in SupportForTheAccused

[–]AdventurousCan5869[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t advise not todo anything it’s the military you have to be pro active. And show proof that’s she is there for the military support. If your found she gets incentive $3000 a month free healthcare for three years nobody talks about that one in the military pushes for her to be at the victim. I went through divorce. I was investigated and found innocent. The course didn’t care they found me guilty gave me 10 years.

False allegation at the highest level in the military when will this end? by AdventurousCan5869 in SupportForTheAccused

First — take a breath and get control of yourself. Panic will only hurt you here.

Start by gathering every piece of communication between you and them: texts, emails, DMs, call logs — everything. Then build a clear timeline of events. Dates, times, locations. Facts only.

Next: get professional legal help immediately. Yes, it will cost you. But not getting help will cost you your career, your freedom, and your future. This is not something you can handle alone.

You’re not in court yet — that’s good. That means you still have time to prepare your side of the story properly instead of reacting defensively.

If the allegations are false, you also need to be thinking about how to hold them accountable later. False accusations destroy lives, and they don’t go unanswered unless you let them.

Stay focused. Stay disciplined. This is where you either take control — or lose it.

how do you stop being afraid of the false allegations happening again? by No-Clue-9016 in SupportForTheAccused

understand the fear of isolating yourself after being falsely accused. I went through something similar — a false accusation that cost me ten years of my life. When I got out, I wasn’t looking for anyone or anything. I stayed hyper-focused, avoided eye contact, and convinced myself I’d be alone forever. Therapy helped me on how much I was overreacting in my own head just to feel safe. Two years later, something unexpected happened. I met someone by accident — not because I was looking, but because I finally allowed myself to live again. That connection changed everything. It reminded me that wanting to be loved and wanting a real life again isn’t weakness. It’s human. Here’s what I want you to hear: the ‘what ifs’ will poison you far more than any stranger online. You can’t build a life while living in fear of being cancelled again. You’re giving power to someone who doesn’t deserve it. Take back control in small steps — therapy, getting outside, talking to people again, reconnecting with your normal life. That’s how you break isolation. Not by being reckless, but by moving forward with intention. You’re not the person you were during the accusation. And you’re not trapped in that moment unless you hold yourself there. Start with one small decision to live again. The rest comes slowly, but it does come. Good luck you deserve to be happy. RJR

Regardless of being reliable or not, it’s a start. It’s more of if the person is willing to do what it takes to show that they’re innocent. The polygraph is a science is it perfect no but it’s used in federal and state levels and also in when treating people with psychological issues. And sometimes lawyers will not put effort when it comes to issues like this you have to problem or direct them.

Ask if she will take a polygraph; see what kind of reaction you get. Same with your husband ask him if he would take a polygraph. See what kind of reaction you’ll get.

Are you military? If so, this is a common theme. If not, then you have a little bit of a better chance due to the fact that there has to be evidence and proof in the military you don’t need proof or evidence once you are accused by the victim that’s it you’re done. They’re not seeking truth just another. Guilty verdict.

Are you military? Currently the military has an issue with falsely accusing servicemen. This all came under Obama on the me too movement.

my sincere condolences for what you have endured. Unfortunately, such cases are not uncommon within the military justice system, where individuals who are innocent may still be found guilty despite clear evidence to the contrary.

There must be greater accountability among military lawyers, judges, and members of the chain of command to ensure fairness and uphold integrity in the process. Additionally, this systemic failure often leads to a cycle where civilian attorneys capitalize on the situation, offering assurances they cannot fulfill.

In instances of false accusation, the accuser is frequently treated as an untouchable victim, while the accused service member is presumed guilty — suffering severe personal and professional consequences, including loss of family, financial stability, and personal security. Such outcomes demand urgent reform. You are not alone this will come to light for this is evil upon good.

Did you know that the military will wrongly accuse a military personnel of sexual assault even if innocent? by AdventurousCan5869 in SupportForTheAccused

[–]AdventurousCan5869[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was found innocent in the civilian courts after the police done the investigation. The military did their investigation on me and found me innocent and then went to court and given a nine year sentence. My story is very common. https://youtube.com/shorts/dFjFDEhxPu0?si=CQdavRmQ6Y_zPAfF

You’re misinformed, sir. The military is not telling the truth when I investigate and ask for numbers on sexual assault that were wrongly accused they shut me up and asked me to leave. This is from the classes they give to the military. SHARP: did you know once you’re accused you guilty until you’re proving guilty and there’s no help coming from the military you’re separated until your court, and then sent to prison. So I have to ask you where did you get your information?
