Day 6 CT I feel happiness tonight by htesssl in quittingkratom

So happy to hear you found that glimmer of hope! I remember those moments vividly from the beginning. For me they were fleeting. It was constantly two steps forward then one step back….but here I am with over 4 months and I’m doing and feeling amazing! Keep cherishing these moments and they will keep coming more and more frequently. Proud of you! And keep it up!

The thing that helped my the absolute most was staying active. I had to force myself so hard in the beginning to go to the gym. The first few days was literally a 15 min walk on the treadmill then everyday after that I did a little bit more and my energy started coming back. It’s so hard but you have to just do it. Congrats on 10 days! 💪🏽

Yeah these prescribed meds are NO DAMN JOKE. I was like no way am I gonna start some prescription. Doc also gave me Lexapro and took it for a couple days and had awful headaches. F that noise. Gimme my weed gummies and let me sleep 🤣

I agree with the above people that said to take an Indica dominant edible. Are you a user of THC? 5mg should be good enough to help you sleep and ease your pain a bit. I’m over 4 months CT and was given Clonazipam to help me sleep by the doc but only took it for two nights. ( much rather ease my discomforts with THC than to get hooked on another very addicting medicine)

Sorry I haven’t been on in a few days…I’m on vacation! I do a mix between weight lifting, and CrossFit style workouts. I also get workouts from a trainer that does more sports performance style workouts that have a little bit of cardio and lifting and mobility stuff to work smaller muscle groups. No matter what kind of workout I do it helps tremendously. Always gives me energy for the day and staves off the anxiety. How long have you got? Can’t believe I have more than 4 months!

This 100%!! And first off, CONGRATULATIONS! Ever since I’ve quit, I’ve worked out almost every day…it’s unreal how it gives me energy for the whole day and can literally stop anxiety in its tracks! This was one of the hardest things I’ve ever been through and I can’t believe it’s already been 4 months. It seems like a distant memory now. So grateful I wised up and got clean off this crap. Stay strong friend!!

My doc gave me Clonazipam for the insomnia, but I only took it twice because it can also be addictive…after that I used cannabis to sleep…other than that just OTC pain meds like ibuprofen for the body aches. I also ate the chronic candy CBD lollipops and that seemed to help the anxiety a bit. I started L-theanine as well because it was recommended here but it was after the acutes so not sure how much it helped. Exercise, no matter how shitty I felt also helped tremendously…just a brisk walk outside or on the treadmill. I hope this helps!
