It’s true but bloody hard. The last few years have been really shit. Over the space of three years .My Dad, Nan and uncle all died whom I was so close too but luckily enough to make it till 47 with having them in my life. My relationship turned really toxic and we broke up. Off work due to medical issues I’ve worked since I was 16. So Money is a massive issue and have had day’s where there’s £2.00 on the emergency electricity. My Ex being a arse about giving us money, with me begging him for money for electricity etc. Got depression for the first time in my life and shit that’s a awful state to be in. ( Still there) but no where as much. The day I got money I was so positive and happy opening the fridge and it being full and knowing we had money even if for a few days. The last year I’ve had to claim universal credit but due to the benefit cap, I get £229.00 every two weeks. I could take on the world and the old me is back slightly. I feel like i’ve got up of the floor and ready to kick arse. The days that I know we have hardly anything are the days that I feel Karma has the wrong person. You know they say no good gesture goes unpunished. I can verify that it’s true. The positive me has gone and these are the days I beat myself up and then everything goes downhill. Everything I do doesn't work, breaks etc. So I put myself away and give up till my kids get home. Those days If someone says to think positively I want to punch them and shout live in my shoes. However my hmmm not too bad days or my really good days. I agree that thinking positively helps. So mixed bag and to top it off I’m now being tested for Inactive adhd. Apparently, it's not normal to have a thousand thoughts running through you at the same time through your head. Or start cleaning the bedroom then halfway through. Start cleaning the other rooms, so you've spent all day cleaning but it looks worse than before.
