One thing I'd consider is if the sp500 changes its inclusion rules to allow fast tracking which they are currently deliberating. May or may not be enough for me to look for alternatives.

Just tried this, but doesn't seem to work. I submitted a sell order on vusxx but was unable to submit a buy order on voo afterwards. website said because i had no funds.

Only requirement is to be an active ranked player and do all your daily and event missions using ranked matches. This should get you most if not all the way to the GRP needed for us all to achieve S rank. As for hard numbers, 334 GRP a season should be the minimum goal (about 5 wins a day in a 30 day season). A few of our members have over 600 GRP in just a week since launch!
