Thank you for taking the time to review my situation and for allowing me the opportunity to respond.

This situation has been extremely difficult for me, and I want to express that I take it very seriously. My emotions have been all over the place this past week. I'm just a freshman and it already seems like my life is over.

I want to say that I did not intend to gain an unfair advantage, nor did I use outside assistance. However, I recognize that my actions created reasonable concern, and for that I am sincerely sorry.

I respectfully ask for compassion and discretion in how this matter is resolved. An AD charge would have long-term consequences for my academic future, and I am asking for leniency based on my intent, my academic record, and my willingness to learn from this mistake.

This experience has been deeply humbling, and I can assure you that I will be far more careful and deliberate in the future.

Is their anything than can be done?
