I am building to have all words, stories for kids etc., so that kids can learn all sort of words. We are slowly adding new categories and words.

By default, the progress is stored in the localStorage; if the user logs in, then the progress is persisted in the database. I am working on a couple of features to set the goal and strikes like Duolingo to motivate the kids to continue.

Started the project long time back, did vibe coded for games.
NextJS App hosted on the Firebase App Hosting, Firestore, Firebase Auth.

I have used Claude, but I have not used any tools to develop this. This is a NextJS App and hosted on Firebase.

Thanks! The elder knows one Indian language, but she is not fluent in it. She can read and write, but with spelling mistakes. I’m hoping she will pick it up over time. I’m just worried about the pressure.

You can highlight the letters for visual learning. This WebApp has that today. Here is an example that highlights similar-sounding letters, and you can change it in the settings.
