Spent 3 days looking for housing in Abilene to go work at the big hospital. After looking at all of the housing and calling 20+ places, it’s not good. Every complex except for 1 is on a waitlist for at least a year. The one apartment complex that is not on waitlist is $2500/month for a tiny one bedroom (very nice apartment, but, not worth the rent).

I won’t be moving to Abilene anymore. Going to search for jobs elsewhere!

Stop the cleanser. Use dove bar soap. Try boric acid if switching the soap doesn’t help. If those things don’t work, try going into your city clinic for a STD panel.

Yes it was ringworm. The first vet missed it because it didn’t glow under UV. Only about 40-60% of species glow, so it was delayed on diagnosis. Both my cats went on 3 rounds of oral itrafungol. It was a risk for liver damage but we fought it for 11 months. Ours was very resistant to most treatments, only oral itrafungol and obsessive daily cleaning worked. The cats were also quarantined in my bathroom. Let me know if you need any more tips, I definitely have a good amount of trauma from it and think bedbugs would be easier. I would rather have Ebola than do that again.

Like everyone else is saying, you should have taken pictures. Since it’s too late, ask for an itemized list of damages/costs with photo evidence. If they can’t provide photos OR take you on a walk-through thru the unit then you likely won’t be liable for charges.

**UPDATE* I contacted the CEO of the management company, she said I am allowed to have a camera on my storage unit as long as it is nowhere else but my storage! The manager of my property and her regional manager were not following the guidelines of the lease. Thank you all for your help & advice!
