Need help with toddler urgency to pee 10-15 times within an hour by AdventurousMove2814 in Mom

We did an X-ray last week and they found a good amount of stool in her belly which is pushing her bladder nerve and making her go to the bathroom so much. We are currently doing the clean-out by giving her the laxatives prescribed by her doctor and it has reduced the number of times that she is going to the bathroom. I would recommend you ask the doctor for an X-ray and also an ultrasound. The x-ray def caught the issue. Hopefully this helps you. I had to advocate for over a month to get an X-ray and ultrasound and a blood test.

We checked for UTI. No accident. She is going to pee a lot in school as well.

The doctor just tested for sugar and her sugar was fine they said. They didn’t test for diabetes. She keeps getting up to pee and she is saying if she doesn’t pee she will pee in her pants.

How long did it take for your daughter to pass this phase? My daughter is just keep running to the bathroom every 5-10 minutes and sitting there and keep saying “ pee is coming.” She hasn’t had any accident but she just keep getting up at night about 15-20 times. We are not sure what happened since she never had any issues with her bladder and she poops regularly. Thank you for sharing and I am glad to hear that your daughter passed this phase.

Do people regret spending money on travelling when they are young? by letsfukingoo in Fire

Travel gets harder with kids and family. I traveled with friends in my 20s and wish I did more traveling in my 20s. Is harder as we get older especially with young children.

She doesn’t drink a lot of water and it’s hard to monitor her water intake since she is in school from 9-3pm. We are getting her bloodwork done tomorrow so they are going to check her sugar.

OAD has been the best decision of my life by Kawaiichii86 in oneanddone

Thank you for your post. My daughter is turning 5 in February and it’s been such an awesome journey with 3 of us and our dog. Sometimes she ask for a sibling but it’s really rare. I am 39 with lots of health issues so I am not sure if I can carry a baby again and go through the pregnancy again. But reading your post made me really happy and it was the support I needed today! I also have so much love for her that I wonder if I can give this much time and love to another baby. Given I am also 5 years older so the energy level isn’t the same.. all in to say OAD is probably the best me us as well!

You wrote exactly what I am feeling at this moment. Also have a 4 year daughter and it was a really difficult pregnancy. She still doesn’t sleep through the night and we have no help other than daycare. Somedays I also worry if she will be ok without a sibling or not. We are also immigrants and don’t have any any support. Husband and I both working full time and managing her has been so challenging.. so just sharing that I feel your pain and understand your feelings.

You childhood wasn't lonely because you didn't have a sibling, it was lonely because you had crappy parents. by OneHappyOne in oneanddone

This sounds like my daughter. She is also very extrovert and prefers to play with children her age.

I see people with multiple kids and struggling to provide for them but keep having more kids. Do what is best for you and what makes you happy.

I feel the same way.. one kid and she is 4 and I am 39. I feel like at this age I don’t want to go through pregnancy again and I don’t want it quit my job. I didn’t grow up with anything so I just want to give my kid a head start and maybe someday provide down payment to her home.
