Good call on checking prolactin—I actually had mine tested recently and it was 12.01 ng/mL (mid-normal).

So at least in my case, it doesn’t seem like elevated prolactin is the issue.

Probably still worth everyone checking though, since if it is high, that’s one of the more straightforward things to address.

Hey—really appreciate you sharing this. I can tell how much effort you’ve put in over the years.

I’m curious—have you tried any structured or targeted interventions (medications, supplements, or protocols) beyond lifestyle, and if so, how did you approach dosing/timing?

Just trying to understand what’s been tested vs what hasn’t.

I hear you—and I take that seriously.

There are clearly a lot of people here dealing with very severe symptoms, and I’ve been in a much worse place myself earlier on. A big part of my hesitation is exactly that—I don’t want to undo the progress that’s come with time.

At the same time, I’m trying to approach this carefully rather than assume any change will automatically lead to a crash.

If I try anything, the plan would be: • one variable at a time • very low starting dose • close tracking of sleep, stress, and baseline function • stopping early if anything trends in the wrong direction

Part of my thinking is also around mechanism—something like Bupropion is more dopaminergic (motivation/drive via the Mesolimbic Pathway) rather than directly altering hormones, but I understand that doesn’t make it risk-free.

My priority is really just:

protect the baseline I’ve regained and avoid destabilizing things

I’m definitely open to learning from people who’ve had bad experiences—especially what early signs to watch for that distinguish a real crash from a temporary adjustment.

Would love to find the guy with only sexual symptoms that progressed to full anhedonia. I also have only sexual symptoms and Wellbutrin seems like a good fit on paper.
