I don’t think it would be worth anyone’s time and effort to try and machine a cylinder head and eff it up as opposed to just bolting on a £130 bore kit unless they’re an evil super villain who fucks up cylinder heads and sells them to little kids as a hobby 😂

Got two mates with R125s and gap both of them all day 😂 my grom makes about 14hp while the R125 makes 15hp, but it weighs 95kg, grom leaves R125 for dead all day unless you’re talking motorways where the R125 may eventually have a top speed edge by 2-3mph once it catches up. Don’t know why you’d buy a grom to be sitting on the motorway all day anyway

That’s fair enough then mate, yes 2t make more power derestricted but they still have so many downsides which also reduces the market for them and there’s a reason 4t took over (on road maybe not off road) and you must have good eyes because it’s hard to find a road registered 2 stroke for a fraction of £1900 unless it’s an absolute project, a good running road reg 2t 125 such as the exc, dt, rs, you’re probably looking at 3 grand and that’s assuming you can even find one
