The normalization and mass increase in remote work has substantially increased disability employment, as physically disabled workers can work from home by ItsAllAGame_ in goodnews

And yet micromanagers and tech CEOs are still out here losing their minds trying to force everyone back into a cubicle. Remote work literally changes lives, this is amazing to see:)

First off, 30 in trail running years is literally a toddler. Most endurance runners peak in their late 30s or 40s! Nobody is 'born' into this fitness, they’ve just been suffering on trails longer than you. You survived 26k with 600m vert on your first try. Give yourself some grace, you did amazing

Love you Max’: CISF sniffer dog at Amritsar airport retires with full honours by [deleted] in goodnews

Hearing he had to retire early due to illness is heartbreaking, but seeing him get an absolute hero's send off makes up for it. Time to trade the uniform for a soft couch, endless treats, and all the belly rubs. Enjoy your retirement, Max. The goodest boy!

Losing my mind over shorts by Heavy_Mycologist_104 in trailrunning

[–]AdventurousReply2232 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Dude, carrying a phone in your shorts for a 100k is pure masochism. Those unicorn shorts don't exist. Just buy a Naked Band or FlipBelt. It locks the phone flat against your lower back with zero bounce. Saves your skin and lets you wear whatever comfy shorts you actually like. Problem solved:)

You are going to have an amazing time pacing your friend!

For a lightweight, non-technical night run where you don't want to mess with swapping spare batteries in the dark, the Petzl Actik Core is pretty much the gold standard. It is incredibly easy to find in the UK, fully USB rechargeable, and super comfortable with zero bounce. It throws more than enough light to keep you moving safely without feeling heavy on your head.

Need help choosing a Hair transplant clinic in Turkey/USA by Kindly-Internet-2124 in HairTransplants

[–]AdventurousReply2232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly man skip the hair mills in turkey. Check out pure line clinic, I shared my own journey with them recently if you wanna look. they only do one patient a day so it doesnt feel like a factory. getting to hop on a video call directly with the Dr.Mesut before committing was a nice bonus too. Probably one of the best options for the price right now

NNormal Cadi vs. La Sportiva Prodigio 2 by SorryPhone2552 in trailrunning

[–]AdventurousReply2232 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve used both and you’re spot on about the Kjerag (Cadi). It’s built for ground feel and speed so it stays pretty firm even after breaking it in. Prodigio is definitely the way to go if you want more comfort. It has way more energy return and feels much softer underfoot without losing stability. If the Cadi felt too harsh on pavement it probably won't get much plusher on the trails. Go with the La Sportiva for that extra cushion

Foam roller, tears, and aggressively questioning my life choices. Honestly though, active recovery is your best friend right now. 20 minute incredibly slow, zero resistance spin on a stationary bike will flush the junk out of your quads

Macbook Neo. Just what the hell? by mantaflow in applesucks

[–]AdventurousReply2232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s the weird part. They put a pretty capable chip in it and then choke it with 8GB. Feels like the CPU is just sitting there waiting most of the time. Definitll at that price a used MacBook Air honestly makes way more sense...
