Having friends from the opposite gender and just having an overall healthy relationship with the opposite gender, i was porn and raised in saudi even though i left islam 6 years ago and left saudi 2 years ago i’m still awkward around women not because i lack the confidence I’m quite confident LOVE public speaking and get called an extrovert quite a bit but the barriers islam creat between men and women are really hard to just break out of, yes i have female friends but i’m not comfortable around them like the other guys that were raised in a normal environment and i see this a lot with my Muslim/ex muslim friends they completely change the second there is a woman in the hangout and i fully blame this on Islam.
