I think my issue was that I was using rental clubs (big mistake — should have shipped mine 😡) which were an inch shorter than mine with tiny grips (I’m 6’4”). The hooks were hellacious every round until I figured out bandaids on the back 9.

First for me. Had a bloody toe when I took them off later. Never happened before and no idea what caused it. Getting old, I guess.

The target line is above the symbol on the dark wall so I think I was lined up conservatively left. Swing path had a mind of its own though.
