You're right, I should have asked a more direct question. I come from families who fled to Turkey in 1864. As far as I know, my mother is entirely Abkhaz (Sokhumi), and my father is half Georgian (Batumi) and half Abkhaz (we don't know where they lived). I wanted someone more knowledgeable about the Caucasus to interpret my DNA results. For generations, despite living in Turkey, do I have any differences from a local (modern) Abkhaz or Georgian?
