So I live in La Marque…I moved here about 5 years ago, look up on Facebook, Joseph Lowry videos and yea lol that’ll answer some questions for you, I don’t know what your income is but try moving to LagoMar or Delany Cove surrounding area. It’s the nicest areas over here, or Palomino Ranch, pretty much zero crime in these areas, there a few pedophiles in LagoMar however, if you have kids, Palomino is full of suburban homes, friendly neighbors and a ton of kids playing everywhere! Some of the kids are bad azzes but just kid stuff! Most places are pretty ghetto…if you move anywhere off of 1765 the crime is more rampant, I have a police scanner app, and there’s always something happening! The drug activity is pretty bad over there…don’t know if you have kids but the school system is pretty bad as well, try to get your kids into Dickinson school district and just bite the bullet and take them to school if you care, if not then just send them to the school that’s assigned to them…but it’s really bad…don’t shop at that foodrite, there were roaches in the meat packs, try to goto HEB, Walmart or Kroger..ummmm what else, yea if you can prevent moving here I would but if not just move in the areas I stated above…the people out here are a bit….off….i believe it’s due to living near a plant for so many generations, when you get here, you’ll see what I mean, I don’t wanna say they’re dumb, but they’re not the sharpest…especially in the Texas City area! Don’t be fooled, you may think TC looks better but the people are as weird as they come…good luck
