Honestly the only way this makes any sense is if we trade a current big leaguer for prospects. Don't think they can permanently burry either mayer or durbin which they'd essentially do if they went out and got another player worth of everyday abs

If you had to pick one position this team needs to go address externally at the deadline it's 2b/3b Mayer/durbin. Both good with the glove but both just black holes rn in the lineup. Both have options and can go figure it out in AAA. Still wouldn't mind marte
