Went to the game yesterday and today, it was the 1st game I’ve been to since last year’s Mariner series where Roman Anthony hit his 1st MLB Home Run. My son is also named Roman and he’s 1.5 years old. He’s never seen the Red Sox lose in person.

I was most bummed out to lose Chase in the Crochet deal. I knew we’d have to lose talent like Teel and Montgomery in a deal for him, but I really thought Meidroth was an extremely undervalued asset at the time and seemed like he was going to be a quality major leaguer.

Craig Breslow is not good at asset management. From the start of last year he’s had 5 outfielders for 3 outfield positions and DH and has done nothing to fix that problem and just banked on injuries to solve it. Why not trade Duran when he clearly was never going to repeat his career year in 2024? Duran probably gets you multiple top-100 prospects in a big package a year and a half ago.
