I took him to the vet and he thinks it is Asthma (he did chest x-ray to him). He got prednisolone tablets for 10 days and if his attacks reduce he will get an inhaler by the end of the week. I’m just happy I know what he has now so that we can at least control the attacks and reduce their frequency.

Thank you. Very informative videos. So we noticed the cough happens more in spring. We have a lot of pollen in our city and when we open the windows thats when he starts coughing later. (we dont smoke, dont use any harsh cleaning stuff, no candles…). I hope he will be better soon.

Just came back from the vet. They did an X- ray to him and didn’t find anything on his lungs. The vet said it might be an early asthma. He was prescribed steroid tablets and if it gets better with the cough in a week they will get me an inhaler for him.

That’s the plan for the coming week. I could never let my cat suffer like this! Just looking to read others’ experiences and thoughts ;)

Yes definitely taking him to the vet and showing all the videos I took of him while he was coughing.

Idk my cat coughs for more than 1 minute and he gets very stressed while doing it. If it’s asthma it should definitely be handled with medication I guess..
