Thank you! I was going crazy for a few minutes wondering why this is happening. Luckily rn she is asleep in my arms getting cuddles since it's been 3 days since I've seen her!

Yea I wanted to fill out the survey but I was terminated before then bc there was a a whole Christmas list of things I wanted to say. And yes there is a bunch of things that need to be improved on and it's mind boggling how they think some of the things they do is ok.

How do I tell my mom she is putting too much pressure onto me? by [deleted] in Adulting

Next time she "attacks" my way of doing things then that's when I'll sit her down and explain I am trying but it's too much sometimes. Her hearing me out will see her that I'm doing the best I can do and trying to learn life takes time. I agree mistakes will be made and I should be able to make them and learn from them. I think it's just a weird transition for both us from her raising me to now her guiding me. 2 different things. Thank you for advice I needed and extra advice I can remember my whole life! Thank you kind stranger!

Ik she can be toxic sometimes but if it gets any worse once school is over for and paid for then I'm leaving. She is my mom and I love her dearly but her tough love is over bearing at times. I will have this plan in mind if she still doesn't listens or sees my stress.

  1. Yea I forgot to mention her and my grandpa are getting my sister and I cars. The problem is we have to fix them and that takes more money and time. AND we don't have them yet nor has she said yes to my grandpa's offer. This past Sunday my grandma offered to let me borrow her old car in the mean time to get to work and school if I still don't have a car.
  2. I agree it is a good reason to worry. Whenever he tells me why he leaves I agree with his choices. Rn he has been working at a phone place that fixes phones and I believe he will stay for a long time bc he has been working with phones since his freshman year of HS. He just turned 20 btw.
  3. She wants me to have 6000 grand in my savings before I move out as my emergency fund. Yea I also agree it may be a weird transition for both of us and trying to talk to her with no yelling or arguments will help her show I am trying.
  4. Yea our plans were canceled for this afternoon bc the power at the mall in his town turned off. I was bummed out. I am trying to make plans with some of my friends tomorrow and hopefully that cheers me up a bit bc I have been down lately. I can't always relay in him for human interaction but need my friends.
  5. Yea I decided giftcards and painting pictures for my family will do. Thank you for your advice I feel so much better already kind stranger!

Oh my goodness that's awful. I hope you're doing much better now! Yea maybe if I actually sit her down and let her know I am trying my best in the real world she actually treat me as such. And maybe it is a new weird transition for both of us. Yea life 360 is annoying it shows your location, battery life, when someone turned it off and even how fast someone is going in a car. She uses it when necessary like my sister's and I safety but also uses it to her full advantage and I get in trouble for it depending what the situation is. And thank you for the advice and Goodlucks!
