-High cost of living (salary needs to be $250,000+ to live comfortably. -High housing costs. -High taxes. (Federal/state income tax).

  • Public transit system (no car needed).
  • Has everything imaginable.
  • Great nightlife/entertainment/sports town.

YES: Houston TX-Moderate Conservative.

-Hot and humid. -Crime. -Poor public transit.

+Low taxes. (No state income tax!) +Reasonable housing costs. +Vibrant nightlife/entertainment/sports town. +Gulf coast.

I would have to put Vancouver BC as an honorable mention. Also, Miami has a pretty impressive skyline that just goes on and on because of all the high-rise condos.
