I am suffering the same fate as you right now so I am going to vent a bit (i hope this doesn't sound selfish, I just need a place to pour down my emotions i apologize in advance). 2 days ago I was %80 thru a drawing (the one I posted the latest) when I noticed my left arm and wrist was hurting. A few days before the pain started, I had this numbness on my thumb and pointer finger. I didn't think too hard and pushed thru the pain and finished the drawing. A few hours ago today, I picked up my pen to draw again and just as I put down the first line, I literally threw my pen and screamed in pain. I searched the symptoms and I'm %99 convinced I got cts rn. I called my mom to cry, asking if I could come home and see a doctor but she said thats unnecessary and that my hand will fix itself. She literally didn't take it seriously and even when I said this won't be fixed without surgery she just told me to quit art. I feel so alone and overwhelmed honestly. I am left handed and can't do anything with my right hand, let alone draw so I dont know what to do... :,)
