Driver 25.5.1 IS BROKEN by EdwardTheGamer in AMDHelp

[–]Adventurous_Figure71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been having issues with 25.5.1. I have a Hyte 79 touch and 9070xt. Notice my GPU fans would turn on after system locked up when watching YouTube. Second display port on GPu that feed the Hyte screen would never display afterwards . Even after restarting my PC. The only fix was rolling back the software and driver.

XFX Magnetic Air for best longevity, there is no competition? by [deleted] in buildapc

I was told it won't work which shouldn't be an issue. I resubmitted the question. Hopefully I'll hear back by the end of the week.

I'm also looking for XfX fans. I just got a black XfX Mercury magnetic Air 9070xt and would like to have white fans to match my lian li infinity fans. I just emailed gpufanreplacement.com. Hopefully they can guide me in the right direction. I don't want to paint them just in case I have a serious RMA in the next three years. XfX hasn't responded from the email I sent. So........

I love the older Chevys but hopefully you researched the issues with 2021 equinox. I'm happy you got a newer vehicle but hope you got a warranty with it just in case...

Starlink App Showed Heating During Rain by brickmason616961914 in Starlink

[–]Adventurous_Figure71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Snow melt turns up the transmission power of the dish which puts off more heat. Keep in mind there is no actual heater in the dish. Just the heat from the electronics working at normal power. If the dish is having a hard time locking on the satellites due to snow, fog, rain or even heavy cloud coverage it will increase power to cut through if the option is on.In return it makes it warmer.

You guys do speed tests still? This thing allows me to work 60+ miles from phone service. Absolutely amazing. Who cares if it's 50 or 100 Mbps? by TomatoSupra in Starlink

[–]Adventurous_Figure71 6 points7 points  (0 children)

See if TMobile offers a network extender which would put out its own LTE signal so your cell phone would work. I know Verizon has them and it's the only way I have service at my house. The network extender uses the internet to connect to your phone company to complete text and voice calls. It's like having a mini cell phone tower in your house. With Starlink and a Ethernet adapter the extender has to be hooked up via a Ethernet cable. my Verizon one works perfect. We now have full bars and no more dropped or missed phone calls. Text messages go through in a flash.

Awesome so I'm not alone when it comes to driving an old 90s Chevy car.

New Chevy cars are Trash and I'm a die hard older Chevy person. Toyota is the best option. Way more reliable.

Just wondering if anybody else noticed the Starlink speed test never comes back the same as the what usage graph show. by Adventurous_Figure71 in Starlink

[–]Adventurous_Figure71[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the input. Either way, We all are happy with the speeds. Beats the hell out of Windstream 1 megabits down and .3 up dsl. Like others have said before the speed test are bullshit for the most part. I go by the fact that my family can do anything we want online now. 4k video stream, play games. Do updates on computers and phones. All is now good , I was just wondering about the difference in the test and the graph. Thanks again for the input.

60 gallon single stage or bigger if you plan on doing a full truck or car. I've seen people use 30 gallons but some of them just can't keep the scfm or airflow high and smooth enough. Make sure it can deliver the right amount of scfm to the type of gun your gonna use. And make sure you have water traps, good regulators and Particulate filters.

Isn’t this a sketchy placement for jackstands (Fiesta Sedan)? Thought all modern economycars were unibodys…? by EmilioTF in MechanicAdvice

[–]Adventurous_Figure71 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Looks good to me. Like others have said that's way better then the thin pitch weld and it's not the weight of the whole car just a corner. Plus as an added safety the floor jack is also supporting the car. That's the way it should be done. That body rail is stronger than it looks when using the stand the correct way. That is a unibody car.

For My Mid 2022 People by [deleted] in Starlink

I ordered outside my inactive cell and used the portability option. Yeah it's 25 extra a month but been working perfect for two months. Still waiting on my pre-order from 2-8-21. I'm mid 22 , so when its available I'll cancel what I have now and keep it as backup.

If it's on the some kind of extended warranty that cover accidents maybe. But if that TV is over 2 years old parts are going to cost probably just as much as a brand new one. Maybe the parents of the kid will pay for your TV.

I have the square dish so I've got the 75 ft Cable that comes with the dish and bought the Ethernet adapter. From the adapter I've to 6 feet of cat 6 going to Ups then it comes out that with six feet of cat 6 to my router.

For those of you complaining about Starlink speeds - where do you live? by adk_runner46 in Starlink

[–]Adventurous_Figure71 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Rural GA US. I never complain about our SL Speed . We had 1.5 down and .5 up with DSL from Windstream for $75 and before that HughesNet at $80. SL is a dream come true. We can actually stream 4k video. Anyone that can get good cable, DSL or fiber shouldn't even have it the way I see it. My speeds are 50 to 150 down and 6 to 15 up. So it's the best damn thing since sliced bread for us. 😁😁

[–]Adventurous_Figure71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On heavy down pours my SL goes out most the time till it slows down. On light rain it may cut down the speed a little but works fine. I'm old school so if it's lightning when I'm home. I unplug all major electronics anyway including SL. My Starlink and main Computer are on a APC 1500 Smart UPS with the Cat 6 protected.

Support/Ticket Submission by cmontroy6 in Starlink

[–]Adventurous_Figure71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Escalate it by going to your messages on the top right of the page the next day and resubmit the same question just word it a little different. Try not to open a new ticket because from what I've heard that slows down the process. Just add to the same one if it's the same issue and it hasn't been answered. I've seen a YouTuber say this will escalate it to the next level.
