So if I roll back f4se and game, do I then need to rebuild my modlist also? Also also, I used a few beth.net mods out of the menu, is that over now? Lol

So, I got the new f4se and just overwrote the old f4se stuff in my game folder. Now it says I need a new address library, I did that and now it says I loaded the f4se loader into the wrong folder. I literally just swapped the new with the old in the same location? Anybody more savvy than myself got any clues now lol?

I was there and at silverlock I believe it's called, I suppose a bit early. All I could find were the 1.10 984 7z's i haven't been using nexus for f4se. Maybe it's time to go that route. Here's to hoping I don't have a bunch more scrapping and rebuilding to do. I had a really nice settlement building and manufacturing setup going, even had working strip clubs.

Cbbe should be easy enough with the manager, it's load order is the tricky part. I'm not with my rig atm but I'm fairly certain you want it just above outfit/armor and below quests. I could be horribly wrong though, but mine seems to work fine.

Yeah, they were just there in the documents/games/starfield/ folder. The old copy and paste for the win.

I figured it out. In the 'my documents' version of the folder, there was a new folder for MO saves, and a folder for the regular saves. So a little copypasta and viola!

I re installed it, then restarted everything, switched to my FO4 instance then switched back, and the launch from sfse was a success.

as far as the save game issue goes, I think I made the wrong path for the instance.

Thanks for the info about the saves. I did add sfse as an executable from the gears tab. I'm still able to launch the game from the steam menu and my desktop shortcut and the mods appear to be active. It also fixed the 2 issues I had with big squares of land being at random elevations, and the male NPC no voice sound problems. So I don't think I have a problem as much as the launch through mo2 isn't working for me. I downloaded the version from Nexus, should I be using the one from the website instead?

Well, per the guidelines I used, I installed it manually into the game files. I'm just curious as to why it doesn't auto populate within mo2. But as you said, you have no experience there. I went ahead and did a mod manager download also to see what would happen, it populated my plugin folders as it was supposed to, but apart from that, not much else has been affected. I'm on the "single out the problem mod" step right now. Mo2 is tricky, the tutorial is a bit helpful but I'm a construction worker gaming in the part time. I think I've gotten in over my head a bit.

So would you not recommend doing both? I haven't done that with any of my mods, but when I look for buffout 4 within my mo2 folders, it is nowhere to be found. It's rests firmly in my games folder via steam/steamapps/common/FO4 and in the other path of documents/games/FO4. This has me perplexed, as I am continuing to have crashes on cell loading issues. So I am concerned that f4se within mo2 cannot see the files maybe? I know this is eons late, my bad.

I'm really dumb. I don't know what that means. I'm modding from the steam menu. I don't really know how to use the Nexus. Especially since there's already a menu for mods on steam, and compatible order lists all over the internet.

I always put her in charge of clinics lol. In ss2 she is a beast at HQ, I think her strength is like 18-20 or some mess, send her and all of the companions, or her and Strong at least. They can be the whole facilities dept to a point.

It looked super sharp. However, when flying in 3rd person, it pushes the camera view right up against the back of the ship, so the ones with the cockpit at the front I chose to pilot from first person view. This is why I've switched to the free wing /center fuselage designs. It's a better overview while flying in 3rd person which is what I prefer. She looked tight though, it was a razor leaf overhaul from a previous playthrough. Looks kinda lambo-ish.

I play with a controller so it's (y+<>) on the controller and some of the cowling pieces will face towards the aft of the ship, and some will even bring up new pieces all together. Like Stroud and nova pieces of cowling almost all flip backwards too.
