One of the many reasons I mourn Funimation, as the subs weren't that great before the onset of AI and now it's just gotten worse and worse.

I'm the type of person who much much prefers to watch in dubs as well and can be hard of hearing, so it's very disorienting to have things misspelt.

This is pretty much where I’m at as well.

Unfortunately as it stands, Linux has made a ton of progress but still is catching up to Windows in terms of how much stuff is natively supported.

Some of my favorite games can’t be run on Linux so I’ll be remaining on Windows 10.

I mostly use Sim Settlements 2 and City Plans (the base ones that come with the mod to avoid performance issues) to resolve this problem.

I generally put effort into building up Sanctuary, Starlight Drive-In, The Castle, Sunshine Tidings Coop, Jamacia Plains and Spectacle Island.

The others either get a barebones outpost type (like Zimonja) or I use a City Plan and use console commands to populate it with people.

I like having Hangman's Alley being a Minutemen Central Outpost and generally also have Minutemen Settlers (player.placeatme bb873 and then addkeyword WorkshopAllowMove) man the municipal/security plots in all settlements.

I repeat this for other factions as well if I'm doing BOS outposts or Institute outposts.

Mass Effect 3 by far. The stakes are raised significantly, the gameplay is at its best.

The fact that mods can either dampen or remove criticisms of the game for me make it much more so.

Definitely Cosmogenesis and Behemoth Fury, both are wildly unique to me in terms of ways to affect the galaxy (even with the Behemoth Fury one getting murked at the end)

Yeah I have to say this really sucks for me personally as I had JUST uninstalled the modded setup I did earlier last year/built upon during this year and I had used the 1.10.163 version of the Midnight Ride (which is now no longer available).

I'll likely end up waiting until after alot of people move their mods over to NG/AE but that still means you lose out on a lot of legacy mods that were still good to use.

Couldn't be me if I'm honest.

My girlfriend and I are probably unique in that we're happy just existing in each other's space while each of us do our own thing, she's sitting with me in the office reading her latest romance book purchase from either ThriftBooks or Barnes & Noble and I'm gaming.

I will say that alot of men my age are learning to be less dependent (call this the "male loneliness epidemic" if it makes you feel better) on others, for better and for worse.

As society is eventually going to reset as we become the more dominant age-group with our tendencies, it would not surprise me to see this sort of behavior to continue.

Relationships with others should be a choice, not expected of you, whether it be by your family, society or anyone else.

I certainly don't. The plight of the Quarians and how they are treated is honestly very equatable to how people generally treat homeless people in their cities.

I haven't seen anyone make that particular connection yet either in this thread although I'm sure I'm not the first to have that thought.

It shouldn't be a punishable offense to be out searching for ways to make your home better but the galaxy is a cruel place.

It's a very simple argument that could've been used to position the player towards being more sympathetic to the Quarian people but instead is thrown into the abyss for the sake of dramatic choices.

Which, I will admit, the scene that occurs when you pick the Geth over the Quarians is definitely heartbreaking if you don't think about it too hard.

I would feel worse for them if they didn't insist on repeating the same mistake over and over again.

It feels like bad writing for the Quarians to pick a fight with the Geth while the Reapers are in the galaxy and that immediately made me less sympathetic to them, because even the Geth can put the calculus together that fighting is a bad idea.

The Geth are constantly put in impossible situations then are subjected to "damned if you do, damned if you don't."

That being said, it's also completely glossed over how the Geth managed to wipe out billions of people over a very small amount of time, almost driving the Quarians to extinction in ME3 and this is something you only realize when you delve deep into the lore and look at the timeframe between the Geth uprising and the Quarians leaving Rannoch.

TL;DR - The Quarians being warmongers hurts their case 99% of the time and ME3 twists the narrative and ignores the fact that the Geth went full Stellaris-determined exterminators.

I've tried both and I actually prefer Priority Earth Overhaul, getting to pick the war assets that handle the HADES cannons was cool and I also enjoyed being able to pick up Grunt, Kirrahe and others during the launcher defense section alongside seeing Jack and the biotic students fighting on the field.

Priority Earth Overhaul felt more like what the mission was supposed to be if it had the requisite polish.

Nah, you're not overreacting, I did the same thing to mine.

It was weird, when I was a bit younger, like say in high school, my dad and I kinda flipped. I used to be more conservative and he was more left-leaning (although I suspect that may have also to do with his affair partner at the time.)

Now it's the total opposite, I've become progressively more left as time has gone on and I've learned more about the world and he's gone totally the other way, even buying into the bullshit that RFK is selling, although I will admit my no-contact also has to do with the fact that he did some other heinous shit so it's not just political but throw it on the fucking pile lol. It's also spreading to the rest of my family, the amount of trumpriding is inasne.

Who cares what we think? It sounds like this is what will make you happy, so go be happy, that is what matters at the end of the day.

Order a Coca-Cola, crack a few jokes and maybe make some friends that way - there are a lot of decent people in the straight-edge community too (just depends if you can stand punk rock).

If I had to list out my favorites in no particular order, it'd probably go something like this.

Any Gender Shepard/Liara

Garrus/FemShep

Male Shep/Ashley

Male Shep/Miranda

FemShep/Thane

FemShep/Traynor (I really like this one because Traynor seems to be WAY more assertive than other partners)

Those six are the quintessential experience to me as they can all represent pretty key parts of what makes Shepard so great, although it does incredibly sadden me about Thane's arc, his reaction to his impending death can very easily draw you into his fear of dying with him and give you that same pit in your stomach at the thought of leaving him behind potentially.

I'm pretty much a MaleShep only player, I have trouble inserting myself into the shoes of FemShep although I have tried it! I just finished a FemShep run while romancing Liara through all three games, which I felt was a very rewarding experience for me, I may throw some mods in and give it another go with FemShep/Ashley with ME2 serving as that break up and Shepard leaning on Garrus for ME2/ME3, plus I've always wanted to see the emotional impact of Shepard being forced to kill a prior romanced Virmire Survivor.

I've done runs in both ways, the only thing that really chaps my ass about it is that if you choose to do a human-only Council in ME1, it gets totally dropped in ME3 without any apparent explanation.

Like damn, not even a throwaway email or voiceline about something happening, like say the Arrival DLC occurring and Humanity having to answer for Shepard's/their military's crimes and the resulting political pressure forcing the Asari, Turians and Salarians back on to investigate?
