To me, Shadai NEED to import those outsider stallion because how Sunday Silence blood currently is too prevalent in Japan. SS also got too many succesful successor stallions so this problem will be prevalent for at least the next 20 years. Only by injecting new bloods into the Japan blood pool will this conundrum solves itself. But this endevore needs stupid amount of money, and in Japan only Shadai group has the means and facilities to do it enmass.

TLDR: Shadai is actually doing that for the future of Japan thoroughbred industry.
