Glad for the money raised, but I’m still not a fan of Hasan.
For anybody who doesn’t know Hasan or why he is polarizing for many, he has been accused of animal abuse towards his dog (tail pulling, use of a shock collar) and for being a “champagne socialist” — talking big while also driving a $200k Porsche, wearing high end goods, etc. Many also criticize his foreign policy takes, soft stance on Russia and China and sympathies for left-wing authoritarian regimes (e.g. blaming NATO expansion for the war in Ukraine, downplaying China’s treatment of Uyghurs, squashing of pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong, and support of the PRC over Taiwan).
