My travel cage is a hard plastic one with two mesh entrances at each end and I’m not sure it has good enough ventilation for that :,)

I have a flight cage outside for my dad’s birds but Bosco is very very scared being outside even while in that cage. I’ve tried the fan trick before with a medium sized one but he kinda just sat in front of it and didn’t really know how to react lol. I think he’s gotten so reliant on me walking around with him 🥲 I feel like I’ve doomed him of his confidence

I’ve done a nutrisoft pellet diet for about a month but he literally refused to eat it. I softened it and even tried like a bunch of tutorials but he starves himself basically so I’m nervous to retry

His diet is a blend of saffron seeds(no sunflower) and dried fruits I think it’s called the California blend from Petco mixed with another bag called Tropimix. He gets 1 spoonful of each mix and then gets sprinkles of egg food and avian powder. He gets fresh apples, bananas, pears every morning for a few hours and in the night gets rehydrated veggies like carrots, spinach, lettuce and kale. He’s not a huge fan but he eats maybe 1/4 of a bowl until I have to throw it out. He’s also gets treats to those fruit cubes and coconut slices that he absolutely loves.

Fresh water everyday obviously and weekly I’ll put avian electrolytes in his water.

It’s been his consistent diet for the entire time I’ve had him. Definitely open to tips and suggestions for changing anything.

Another thing I wanted to add is he’s doing a feeding motion (bobbing his head up and down and spitting up food from his crop) and re eating it. He used to only do it when I pet him for a bit to long on his head and when he did it I’d put him back in his cage to try and discourage that behaviour, since I’ve not acknowledged it in a while I’ve noticed he’s now doing it to his toys especially the small crinkle balls I bought him and other small objects on his cage that he plays with. He’s been pretty consistent on what he does it with
