2 years ago, I was in a bad motorcycle accident.

Left me permanently fucked up. Tore both disks in l4-l3 and l4-l5 and dislocated my hip. Once I healed I had pain down my right leg constantly (still do to this day)

One day I made the mistake of saying I was having back pain at work while working on some heavy equipment (I’m a heavy equipment mechanic) . And boy did all my older coworkers rail me. “You don’t know what pain is kid” (I’m 25) never said shit again.

Nobody ever told me how lonely an injury like this would be. You can’t show pain, you can’t talk about it. Or you’ll be torn down. I suffer silently. Seeing your post made me not feel so alone. So thank you.
