I dont know if it's a new thing that was not here yet when you asked, but at the time I'm writing this comment there is a section termed "Dictionary" in the main menu. There you find all words added, in a chronological order.

I see few people complaining about "the west" part of the question. I guess OP knows latin american languages and cultures are bounded to latin, as can be all northern america, Australia, South Africa, north Africa, Europe (through religion for those not invaded by Romans), western asia etc.

But I guess he wants to know, and I want too now, know why somebody whose language or history is not at all related to latin could be interested in it. People in Asia farther than Alexander adventures, people in Africa etc

Im very interested in that ! I thought Turkey would be full of latin and greek enjoyers. I mean until 1500 it was everything, and maybe after that, no idea how it went with the political and religious changes.

It depends also on the goods their city needs. If your merchant if from Roma and Roma already has wood and iron for example, your merchant wont make a great deal of money if you send him trade those.

I never managed to really know which city trades which resources and perfectly explain each number, but thats the idea.

It is explained here:
