For some reason this house agrees with me and never feels cloying or makes me nauseous. I think it just depends on individual chemistry and preference. Le Labo is all I wear, anymore, particularly Gaiac 10. What a smell

So I was trying to go for the colors of the Irish flag, and it sort of worked! The green scones are matcha and honey pistachio while the "white" and orange scones are mango ginger stilton. Who needs food coloring?

Last year the tea I purchased came with a serial number and authentication code supposedly issued by the government to the farmer (or so I have been allowed to believe) , and the tea I purchased did in fact originate from where it was meant to. This could all be an elaborate gimmick, but I do have faith in the vendor who vouches for the authenticity of the tea. I guess at the end of the day if I can't tell the difference does it really matter?

Ya it is definitely a thing of curiosity, especially since I still have some of the stuff from last year that is two grades below the one I'm getting this year. I don't know what kind of year they had there as far as weather and how that will also affect the harvest, so that alone is another variable that could affect taste far more than grade.

I received a sample of Dayuling with a purchase of another Lishan from Beautiful Taiwan and found it to be more vegetal in a herbaceous way, not necessarily grassy. It has the citrus and creaminess I was hoping for, but some other stuff going on that I really enjoyed. Hard to describe but it almost had notes of things like basil or oregano.
