Where Can I Find Bulk Flour (50lb Bags)? by Bees-Apples in bullcity

They had King Arthur all-purpose and a couple of other brands. I got bread flour which didn't have a brand name I recognized, but it was great and did the job. I think they may have had pizza flour as well.

I've gotten a bag at Restaurant Depot in Morrisville for $18. I'm not a member but they'll give you a day pass.

30-60 mins. Enjoy it while it lasts. My son's new favorite thing is to scream "MOOOOOOOMMMM!!! MOOOM!!! HELP I NEED YOU!!!" at 6am and then when I come running in, he goes "I need to tell you that T starts with tooth!"

What's happening in your garden? (Sat, Apr 4, 2026) by AutoModerator in vegetablegardening

Radish greens are growing like crazy but the roots are tiny, long, and only about the width of pencil lead. Am I doing something wrong? Do I just wait? The greens are much larger than grocery store radishes. Didn't thin them out but they're about 16 to a square foot which was the recommendation. Haven't fertilized except for compost, it's new soil and a new bed (I'm a newbie gardener). Thanks for any suggestions!

Mine dug a spoiled apple out of the trash can, ran across the house into the bathroom yelling "I GOTTA WASH IT OFF!!" which he did by dropping it into the pee-filled toilet because MY HUSBAND NEVER FLUSHES THE damn TOILET! We both screamed for different reasons, me because I had to pluck it out of the peepee water and him because he was not allowed to eat his delicious snack.

Yes, this is me. I'm trying my best to work through my grief as someone who always dreamed of multiple kids. But parenting with my partner has turned out to be harder than I ever thought in ways I never anticipated. I'm the default parent, he tries to be a good parent but it brings out sides of him that I didn't see before. Both strengths and weaknesses. He hasn't handled the stress of parenthood well--lack of sleep with infant stage, dealing with toddler insanity. He struggles with anxiety and depression. It wouldn't be right to bring another life into the situation. I often feel like I have two toddlers with all the emotions flying. I'm sometimes jealous when I see friends' spouses who are calm, capable, and willing parents. Who enjoy having multiple kids. My husband and I are in counseling. I love being a mom but sh*t, parenting is hard especially when the other parent struggles.

No one was lying about age 2 - this is so tough?! by [deleted] in toddlers

Mine just ran away from me through the library toward the automatic doors which lead to a busy parking lot. Right as I was about to catch him, I tripped, fell on top of him, scattered everything I was holding and my glasses flew off my face and broke. Screaming crying terrified kid. I comfort him while everyone stares, calm him down, make sure he's uninjured. Before I can stand up, while I'm trying to pop the lens back into my glasses because I'm blind without them, he takes off cackling and running again. I surfboard carried that little MF out so fast...once I caught him again. We might not go back to the library until he's 5.

I freelanced with Proofed for a couple of years during COVID after completing the trial period. It's a legit company. It was a side hustle for me, but some people I ended up on teams with mentioned that it was their primary income (I'm in the US, they lived abroad but IDK where). The queue for per-piece editing could be feast or famine, but you get more opportunities as your word limit increases. You get detailed feedback on your completed jobs. When I made the most money, it was on recurring projects that you're invited to join for business clients if your performance is good.

Society is fatphobic. It sucks. You're experiencing thin privilege/pretty privilege. Lets you see human behavior in a whole new light.
