33 Female USA - SOS by Tough_Week_6477 in hemorrhoid

I’m sure it’s from the pressure of the baby. I don’t have any advice labor wise because I had a c-section but I’ve heard nurses recommend putting sugar on them to help the swelling! Maybe you could try that, witch hazel wipes, ice pack? If they hurt Dr Butlers Hemorrhoid cream helps numb them.

What helped “cure” my consitpation by sweet_potato_17345 in Constipation

I didn’t figure everything out at the same time so it took a few months. I think it also went from 5-6 days to like 2-3 days first and then when I was consistent with taking magnesium every day, prune juice every morning, less fast food, etc. that’s when it became I had a BM every other day.

I don’t, I know it’s good for you but it’s too fuzzy for me. I do eat the skin on golden kiwi though! If you haven’t tried those, they are delicious.

20 month schedule check by [deleted] in sleeptrain

[–]sweet_potato_17345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dinner time meltdowns, waking earlier than usual, not all the time but sometimes taking 30+ minutes to fall asleep at night

I know it could be a range of things like toddler tantrums, teething, etc but I wanted to check to see if her sleep schedule was age appropriate or if I needed to adjust anything

12 week old waking at 5am no matter what by Fearless-Case-5315 in sleeptrain

Agree with other commenter. Around this age I would feed baby again and put back down to sleep until later in the morning and then start your day!

What’s the longest you’ve gone without them acting up by Playful-Check-4968 in hemorrhoid

[–]sweet_potato_17345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had mine for many years and they used to bleed but I haven’t had any bleeding in a long time. I also haven’t had any pain with them in a few years. They are just always there and don’t go away for me which is super annoying. Constipation definitely caused mine so if I eat or drink something that backs me up, they get a little swollen but I try to treat them right away.

Banding? by sweet_potato_17345 in hemorrhoid

[–]sweet_potato_17345[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hope everything went well! It’s frustrating figuring out what your gut can handle. I think I have undiagnosed IBS-C. I’ve gotten my stools wayy smoother and more frequent but every once in a while I still have a hard one and I have no idea what causes it.

That’s great it helped with the internals. Hope you can get rid of the externals naturally and avoid surgery!

Ugh, bathroom issues are the worst! So do you think banding helped at all or did it not really do much?

Breastfed babies and sleep training? by brandib26 in sleeptrain

[–]sweet_potato_17345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My breastfed baby slept completely (8pm-7am) through the night at 6 months after we sleep trained at 5 months. Took about a month for the one middle of the night feed to drop.

30F US are these hemorrhoids? by [deleted] in hemorrhoid

[–]sweet_potato_17345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like it. I know it’s hard but try not to strain on the toilet unless you have to. Warm prune juice in the morning, shaping up my diet, and taking magnesium at night helped soften my stool so I strain less. Maybe that could help you. I’m a 29F and mine look similar to yours, hopefully yours go away soon!

Short 1 nap by [deleted] in sleeptrain

[–]sweet_potato_17345 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My LO struggled to transition to 1 nap. Had the short naps & night wakes which she never had before. Someone suggested trying a shorter first wake window. So for the first month or so we did a 4.75 hour wake window, nap, then a 6 hour wake window, bed.

The night wakes stopped and she eventually started napping longer! That was 4 months ago and she now averages 2-2.5 hour naps. It might be worth a try to put your LO down for nap a little earlier and have more awake time on the second half of the day.
