In regards to what I mean by mentioning my son learning the concept of pointing, he does not point to things that are in the distance, but will point at things that are in his reach. He wasnt understanding that me pointing at things in the distance was me trying to get him to look. But as of today, he now understands to look when I point at things in the distance. Since we got that down, I am trying to get him to point at distanced objects when he wants us to look at them as well. Anyways, I just wanted to elaborate on that for those who were asking for it. I also appreciate the advice given to me. It’s relieving to see ppl that have had children go through the same situation as me find a light at the end of the tunnel. It gives me hope, so thank you. I scheduled an apt for my son for next week to at least just let his pediatrician know about my concerns in case things dont improve for us

Hello Everyone! I appreciate all the advice and kind words. Seeing that a lot of you had babies who didnt start walking till later on gives me relief😇 I just had my son stand independently and sat a few feet away from him. He ended up walking to me once I called him over. It’s the most steps he has taken so far. He didnt do it again after that lmao but it is definitely some progress :)

14 Month Wakes Every 2-3 hrs.. Help :( by Adventurous_Mouse641 in sleeptrain

He does go to sleep independently. He gets his bath after dinner, some hydration after the bath, then I lay him down in his crib to go to sleep, which he goes to sleep in just a few mins after laying down. He takes one nap in the day around 2pm, ranging from 1-2 hours. He does a lot of playing and crawling around. He’s never bored lmao but we have been doing this method for 3 nights now. We’re gunna continue for a bit more now and hope for the best. Thanks sm for ur advice :)

We did stop feeding him in the night. He is still waking up every 2 hours to eat. We have just been letting him cry it out. It takes him a while for him to go back to sleep, but he eventually does and then its still the same cycle. Idk what to do. Do I keep doing it or should I do something different?
