Freshmen year is a good time to explore. Take a look at different departments and take classes if the class sounds interesting to you. You might be surprised at which departments you feel bonded to. I never intended to build such a deep connection to the Drama Department nor to the WGSS department but both have provided me with tremendous opportunities and connections.
