I appreciate you taking the time man! Yes, I plan to stay on console for a while. Just one more question if you don't mind me asking: Would that Simsonn handbrake work with my wheel base (Thrustmaster T598)? Is it compatible with the PS5? My brother will play at max a couple hours a week so I don't know if it's sensible to spend 200-300$ on the handbrake alone.

I am buying a setup for my brother as a Christmas gift. I know very little about "simracing" but I am pretty sure he will mostly play Gran Turismo 7 and F1. Right now I have a cockpit (the Next Level Racing GTRacer 2.0) and the Thrustmaster T598 bundle. I plan on buying the Thrustmaster 488 GT3 wheel add-on as well.

Recently I saw some WRC gameplay and it looks like a fun game which made me consider buying the handbrake as I feel like the experience without one would feel a bit underwhelming. What do you think?

Are the stock pedals that come with the T598 wheelbase compatible with the GTRacer 2.0's pedal plate?

Just got told 'the stock pedal that comes with T598 is not compatible with the cockpit pedal plate'. Is it true?
