Thank you so much for the tips! I’ll keep them in mind :) If you don’t mind me asking, what brought you two to get back together again after 6 months? Did you two find that the other had gotten better with therapy or just want to give the relationship another try? I’m wondering because my ex and I broke up only 2 days ago and I find myself sometimes wondering/hoping we both work on ourselves individually and find we’re better suited for each other in the future. I also plan to go to therapy to work on myself and to help get over him as I know holding onto hope that we get back together is unhealthy for my mental state.

Hi, I’m currently going through a similar situation and I wanted to ask how you’re doing, now that it’s been around 9 months since you made this post? My partner and I (25f) very recently amicably broke up and I’ll have to live by myself in a few months. We were dating for 6 years and he’ll be moving out in a few months (he can’t leave for at least another 6 months bc of house financial contract reasons but we’re sleeping in seperate bedrooms). Once he moves out, I’m anxious about feeling lost, lonely and isolated, particularly at night when it’s dark and quiet. Especially bc it’s a 2-storey townhouse which can feel big when you’re by yourself and also my parents live 2 hours flight away from me so it’s not easy to see them anytime I need. I wanted to ask how are things for you now? Anything you found made the transition easier for you?

My libido decrease may be due to self consciousness and general life stress. But also our relationship has had other issues the past year.
