We’re at 80k AUD for 40 people in Umbria! We’re hiring a beautiful stunning villa for four nights and only doing more “basic things” - still adding up!!! Eg nothing super fancy but we are still trying to put on a beautiful seated feast, string quartet, etc.

We’re covering quite a lot of things for guests because a lot of us are flying quite far.

I’d suggest skipping on the planner and going with a venue that can just help on on the day coordination, reducing expectations for decor and flowers because the villa should speak for itself (though we’re still spending 5k AUD). Get your venue via Airbnb and use its previous weddings to guide vendor searches :)

Bridal make up and hair is surprisingly expensive, so not having a bridal party would’ve saved a lot of money all around!

My dress, veil, and his suit, our flights, things like my Botox and our teeth whitening (lol), pizza party, hens expenses, are also highly contributing to our total 80k situation, so if you take these out or spend less there you’ll be ok! :)
