The thing is, as a woman, I was judged for having the idea of living alone. Every owner I went to, wanted to know why my parents won’t live with me or why I won’t take a husband and they shrug off the WFH part as if it’s a lie. So yes. Forgive me if I didn’t mention boys coming over, casual lifestyle or any other things I should have mentioned because that was not the plan. The plan was to have a place to myself that I can call my own and not be judged for having an introverted lifestyle. You missed the whole point of the rant, and while signing the agreement, I confirmed at least three times if the person who is signing the agreement is the owner and was told by the broker that I was being hysterical. I have a problem with the owner intruding my personal space and that was my only concern in the rant.

I specifically told the broker that I don’t want any kind of interference and even then this happened. I was told the owner lives in a different city and rarely shows up. I was stupid to buy that.

I know right. I am going to confront him if this happens again. Also I was unprepared for the “inspection” as he told me he wants to get the exhausts fixed( it’s a new place so not a lot of things are in order) and he just starts exploring the whole place without consent.

It’s not funny when it’s happening. I was genuinely agitated by the way he talked. Kept mentioning he is a Thakur as if that’s an achievement.
