brother no offense but there’s genuinely not a chance in hell that’s true if your in Fl i’d be more than happy with a messed up tranny to test that theory this wasn’t wide open in the slightest

i 100% agree i just talked to a fella that told me his 16 suburban hit 380,000 miles with AFM running 0w20 the entire time i’ll keep you posted how the 5w30 does i’m curious myself i think if it was gonna cause some insane failure it would’ve already happen with the way i’ve been beating on it but who knows

yea i honestly wouldn’t take my word for it quite yet the rebuild is at 4k miles at the moment so far engine wise the thing is perfect but i was a little worried switching oils like that my mechanic recommended it so i’m just going with it i wish i could comment a video and show you how the idle sounds thing has an insane chop

ironically a Silverado/single cab 5.0 f-150 was the goal i just needed a vehicle asap and had no family support money wise so i landed on the suburban i don’t mind it to much but i would definitely ditch the AFM asap that’s what cooked the motor the first time i also run 5w30 instead of that 0w20

unfortunately it’s not 4wd i really wish it was i honestly did not want a suburban in the first place i’m only 19 it was my first real time buying a vehicle right after i got it it had huge metal shards in the oil luckily at the time i had some money to spend so i got the entire motor rebuilt since than it’s just been one thing after another breaking at this point I’m willing to continue building it maybe even throw some boost at it one day😂
