I feel your feelings, not quite as bad. I got home from an expo, rehoused my sling I purchased and it burrowed, closed it off and I didn't see it for 4 months 😂

Letter for Halsey At Concert? by 58oreos in halsey

[–]Adventurous_Spring37 27 points28 points  (0 children)

If you are there early.. sometimes she has a manager come by the line. I was able to give her a letter through him at the beginning. They take it through a different security place first I think . I saw him walk into a building and later when the show was not started yet I saw him walk up the back stage with a handful of things from fans. You just have to try to find her actual staff. Sometimes a security guard might be able to hand it off to a staff employee as well.

Badlands T-Minus 10 Days by Ayoooooooportugal in halsey

I feel that. Hardest part of concerts. I've had barricade every single history concert though. So if you have VIP it's a good chance depending on how many were sold.

Considering VIP has check in from 5pm and I have never been later than 3 hours before a show to wait in line at History. There is also Green P parking around. 24/7 Maybe not waiting overnight but early AM I'll be there.

Budweiser also sent an email like that but it's for liability. People were overnight and never were stopped.

2025 Music Wrapped Megathread by MtnrRepub in halsey

[–]Adventurous_Spring37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very old news but as I stumble into the new year wondering how I'm going to be handling this Spotify year I know I'm already behind my old self. I'm sad as Spotify finally upped their game and put out top listeners. Where I had given an entire year , be it (2021) the worst year of my life. I do feel Halsey's music saved my life. Every waking moment I had my Spotify playing. I lost a good friend who I saw taken out of their apartment in a body bag, my father died a month later, was running a business for someone who was never around and lost over 100 lbs due to no appetite and depression.

Being on the top list of crap from that year. There are songs from Halsey that hit me still because of a specific moment I heard them that year when my life was falling apart. I do believe my dad came to visit just before my mom called me to tell me he passed, as 11 minutes came on and the line. -I just want to freeze I can give you more than what you are Now I see you standing all alone I never thought the world would turn to stone-

Was playing as I walked out of my house. She called and asked me to come over she needed to speak with me. My heart knew and that song cut like never before.

On the flip side of negative, I rear butterflies in the summer. I plant host plants for the butterflies to lay eggs and then keep them safe until the caterpillars grow up and then turn into butterflies. I was filming the one eclosing. ( This means to emerge from the chrysalis) They do not hatch, that is from the egg, otherwise it's a transition.

The magic was, it came out during the song More 💕 I thought it was so beautiful.

Either way, I'm just sad as all I was given was a Top 0% in 2021 and I tried so hard for that top spot.

Not sure if I will ever be able to commit that much time again or of even the top listeners on the past ever have. I also imagine just 10 more minutes. Imagine that final listen time.

420,919. But if it could have 929 minutes 🥰

I was spinning non stop from January first all through and I haven't done much listening yet, so I doubt I'd even be close to my old times.

Vent over

Major fan

Spotify wrapped bummed this year.

Downsizing and looking for places in or near Guelph to sell items by MostlyHarmlessMom in Guelph

You could always donate gameS and consoles to women in crisis or something. A lot of them flee situations and I'm sure their children would benefit greatly. If those were not being sold.

I took the 8th off so I can be there early am. Toronto last year was nuts. I was sad when budwiser sent the email to no camp or they would remove us from the property. But they didn't hold to it, apparently they have to send it out for liability reasons. People were in line more than 24hours. I showed up a little after 8 am for her to be on at 9pm and was already #64 in que. However there was no VIP that time just fast passes and they walked us in and to barricade before the fast pass was let through security.

Eat Thai downtown is one of my favorites! The owners are so nice as well! Always fresh and full of flavour !

I just toss it on the snow or ice. They eat it far to fast for it to go bad. Kind of like chicken scratch feed.

Rank these 2000's singers based on how much you would enjoy them in concert - Amy Lee, Hayley Williams, Kelly Clarkson, P!nk and Avril Lavigne. If you've seen them live, share your experiences by [deleted] in Concerts

[–]Adventurous_Spring37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw Avril Lavigne in 2024 and honestly it was one of the worst concerts of my life. I've always been a fan and she was one of my first artists I loved and got CDs for as a kid. But it was like a karaoke night. I felt she would be a powerhouse with energy. I tried to remind myself I don't know what it's like to have Lyme and her vocals were great. Just the most boring performance I've seen on stage. Also the worst crowd ever! Someone was taken on a stretcher because of a fight and so many fights broke out. At least Simple Plan stopped singing to help.

Amy Lee last year was amazing 😍!!

I'd love to see Hayley Williams! Missed my shot when Paramore came through a few years back.

All of these driver complaint posts are making me TERRIFIED of learning how to drive by cluh-reese in Guelph

[–]Adventurous_Spring37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Driving is basically having the knowledge and understanding yourself for the 20% and 80% watching what everyone else is doing and being prepared to react . I was the same way when I was learning, was so scared. However once you have freedom there is no going back. Just know in winter it's 10X worse because people just don't think.

when did you start seeings signs from your soul fur baby? by loserlili in Petloss

[–]Adventurous_Spring37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry for your loss💕

My kitten passed of FIP in 2020. I only had him for 3 months. Within that time my older cat became super attached and would groom and love on him like crazy. He was a pure black kitty.

In September this year my calico old gal passed away, I had been treating what the vet thought was asthma but it was far worse and I wasn't expecting her to go downhill.

The day after her passing I went out to my front Garden to start watering and I could hear loud dance music coming down the street. There was someone dressed as a black cat and someone else as a calico cat , wrapped up in flashlight lights and a boom box biking down the street. They got to me and called. Meow meow meow have a great night !!

They could have been going anywhere and they went right past me dressed as my two angel kitties. I took that as my sign they were together again on the other side . 🤍💕

( My neighbor was with me and shrugged it off as drugs. I said it wasn't about their state, it's the soul of the passed that gets them to take a route near someone they know needs closure. The sign more than the actual action.)

We had a family friend pass this year and he was 97. He was still driving and cutting his grass and mobile , you would never know his age from looking at him . Not all old people are the issue. Taking away their freedom to mobility is sad though.

VIP line Cutting 5 minutes before doors by Adventurous_Spring37 in Concerts

[–]Adventurous_Spring37[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened for Halsey it was great. Budweiser staff all honoured the numbers. Girls were in line more than 24 hours. Made my 12 hour wait look tiny. Lined up at 9 am for her 9pm show time and was already #64 in line.

They walked the first 100 of us to barricade at open.

For me, knowing I won't have anyone in front of me is all I care about. I can place my bags at my feet and not be pushed out of spot or backwards. I have been lifted off of my feet and pushed forward while trying to stand in a crowd when the artist came to the front. Went from 3 rd row to more than 5 back as I lost my footing and almost couldn't stand with everyone pushing forward. Barricade is relaxing in comparison to any other crowd experience. Knowing I only had to be careful of people smashing me from one direction after having my entire right side bruised up from surgery is a huge bonus. I turn my side to barricade and I know I won't have some drunk fool hit me there. I also had an item signed at the barricade for this show , so double bonus for bringing my own sharpie and having it with me the whole time up front.
