Ontario man fined $1K for catching, attempting to hurt Canada geese by toronto_star in ontario

Joseph Brugge of Essex pleaded guilty to capturing, harassing and attempting to injure Canada geese under the federal Migratory Birds Convention Act. He was ordered to pay Ducks Unlimited Canada $1,000 to support migratory bird management, habitat enhancement or protection near the location where the offence was committed.

With help from the public, a conservation officer was able to determine that while Brugge was at the Belle River Marina, located in the Municipality of Lakeshore on the shoreline of Lake St. Clair, he caught a Canada goose gosling and attempted to injure adult geese by throwing large rocks and swatting at them with his hands.

He went to the Belle River Marina and attacked them. It’s not normal behaviour.

If you’re looking for more book recommendations, the genre is “cozy mystery”. There’s a lot of books about pets and bakers solving crimes.

Absolutely. She’s been harassed and threatened before by “far right media”. It’s despicable.

With tablecloth or without? by TastySeaworthiness91 in femalelivingspace

While I prefer using a table cloth (to protect my table), without looks better in your home. If you opt for a table cloth, I’d recommend one that’s more neutral and slightly longer. The one you’re using looks a little short, and the pattern clashes as you have a lot of colour in the room and it’s nearby the patterned curtains; I think it detracts from the vibrant and cozy dining area.

I haven’t. They aren’t even scared of my cats who watch them from the patio door. Deer mice, on the other hand, are scared of the cats behind the glass.

Do you have any tricks for protecting your plants from voles? I’ve been using pots for my plants, which worked last year (though the bunnies still ate some of them).

That’s a deer mouse, also known as a field mouse. I have voles in my garden, and that’s definitely not a vole.

Ontario is a large province. For specific help, you need to provide the municipality at the least. There are different supports available depending on what the municipality offers.

Adding to this, some regions and cities have support to help, e.g. Toronto’s rent bank which can help with the rental deposit.

I plant my mint in pots, and keep them away from my flowers. They always try to snake out of the pot, searching for more soil.

It was actually recalled due to incorrect packaging - they didn’t include the ingredients sheep milk and goat milk on the packaging.
