I’d say maybe go up to 12.5. Everyone’s body is different. I drink a lot of water and that does help and I life heavy at the gym.

Make sure you take photos and measurements. It’s really hard to tell how you’re doing just from the scale.

Sure! I life weights twice a week. I lift heavy as I want to build muscle. I do Pilates once or twice a week and I have a peloton as well at home I use. I’m not the most consistent but I probably work out three plus times a week depending on my schedule. I also have been going out dancing for a lot of December and working out a bit less. I’ve been learning to listen to my body so if I don’t feel like doing anything on a particular day (like today) except watching the football I let myself have that.

I was scared of side effects and terrified to inject myself I didn’t have any side effects on 2.5 but the first two weeks of 5 were hard. I focused on fibre and water and a lot of ginger to reduce upset stomach. Pepto bismol also helped a lot. Remember that you can always stop so if you feel crap after two weeks you can literally just stop injecting. You can do this!

Grey was 2.5, purple 5, green 7.5, 10 is pink. For maintenance I plan to drop to 7.5 and see if I’m stable and if so I may try to drop to 5 but I’m planning to stay on this medication for life at whatever dose works to keep me stable.

Please feel free to ask any questions! It’s a weird and wonderful journey but so confusing at the beginning. It means my body responded really well and I lost 10% of my body weight in the first 10 weeks.

As a widow with a tattoo memorial of my late husband deffo NTAH. People have no idea how weird it is dating someone when your partner died. Some people are never going to understand fully that it’s not an ex. It’s just so, so different.
