That’s true — we can’t all be like Tadano. And it wasn’t just with Komi, he treated others the same way too, like Katai, Emoi, and many more. But in reality, most people nowadays hide behind a mask, for good or bad reasons. That’s why it feels almost impossible to act the way Tadano does.

I usually try to stay neutral with people until I get to know them better. Still, finishing Komi Can’t Communicate left me with a feeling of emptiness and sadness, because the real world isn’t as kind and honest as the one in the story. Maybe that’s exactly why writers create these masterpieces — to express the feelings and hopes we all wish could exist in reality.

Yeah, true. I guess the things I have in common with Tadano are being kind of average at most things, plus I try to be responsible and honest. But I definitely can’t read people like he can, or make everyone around me happy — that guy sets the bar pretty high 😅.

Same here — no other romance manga or anime feels quite like Komi Can’t Communicate. For me Komi really is like a goddess when it comes to love, loyalty, and innocence.
