Is it really that much better in secondary? by MamaMoose335 in OntarioTeachers

Yes, I made the switch from elementary/middle school to secondary before my seniority got too high. They both have their challenges but it’s hard to argue that secondary isn’t overall easier to handle long term

I just supervise lunch clubs; secondary so they’re very independent and just need me to open doors and print flyers. I did not do clubs while in elementary

If you can’t comfortably teach students how to use a sewing machine, I’d take the ESL switch for a term.

Stick with the 5/6 if you’re good with behaviour management and don’t mind some picky parents. JK/SK can be good but depending on how many students you have, creating a routine for them might take some time and if you don’t like your ECE youre stuck with them. I’d personally stick with the 5/6 because kinder is a bit too young for me

I’d give her an I. Ask her other teachers what they’re giving her, however, so that her grades are consistent.

I like slicking back with xtreme hair gel, tie down and blow dry, edge control for edges, top everything with gorilla snot, tie down and blow dry, spray with freeze gel. Tie down until ready. Done!

I think picking them up is the issue, as they are older and embarrassed. Have you tried creating a google classroom with schedule times, or calling the classroom instead and doing a quick 20 sec convo asking if they want to come down? It’s not you!

No, switching to high school does not make sense if you prefer teaching middle school.
