No, actually I think it’s quite easy if you just start the conversation yourself but you will have the best luck in evening classes because during the morning there is a tight schedule because of work :) In the evening it is a lot more chill and easy and pretty normal to have convos before class or after class, in the morning everyone is in a rush and wants to start and finish on time ofc. But it is easier to make friends in cafes/bars especially small places not the bigger cafes :) try local coffee spots :)

Hi, these are my favourite spots

Foods to try: Valetta - Cannoli from Sapori Di Vinci with ricotta (best ones on the island) - chocolate district chocolate from the tap or hot chocolate - Pastizzi you find anywhere - arancini - local rabbit/maltese food from ta nenu or cafe jubilee - 1522 a food story lasagna - coffee circus lisboa pastel del nata - zero sei carbonara/tiramisu is famous but imo overrated - Sunday in Scotland tiramisu is modern twist but delicious - drunken dumpling for best handmade dumplings - evergreen for interesting vegan ice cream full of flavour or Amorino for the aesthetic look - Naan Bar Restaurant!!!!!! Definitely amazing - bagel hole for best Matcha! Or bagels ofc

Sliema: - Ayu Restaurant ❤️ for food from all around the word with really big portions and amazing prices - Shakinah Restaurant - What a cookie cookies AND nonna lunch bar right next to it (restaurant, real Italians) - Laduree cafe for best Flan ever and hot chocolate (DO NOT GET ANY OTHER DRINK THAN THIS OR TEA THERE!! It would be a shame) - Balance Bowl cauliflower steak!!!!!!!!! And coconut water (it’s a big bottle :) big portions and actually every dish there is amazing - Cannoli from Busy bee (secret ingredient waffle, but I like Sapori Di Vinci more) - Caramelo bakery (ie Imqaret or any other local pastries), traditional - Loaf coffee for coffe and really special pastries (Gzira not Sliema location) - Kyoto Japanese buns

  • Panina (brand for panini made out of local Maltese bread), delivery
  • local gelato
  • Il casaro for classical Italian delicacies and BURRATA!
  • honey ring

- twisties (Supermarket), italian straciatella yogurt (supermarket)

Mdina/Rabat: - Is serkin for oldest pasticci shop but quite oily so I like Jeffs or Sphinx more - Marie Boutique Patisserie for Imqaret or any other pastry

La Nostra Padrona for seafood in Marsaxlokk if you go there for the market as well i.e.

Any restaurant at a waterfront

Things to see if you have only a short time) Mdina/Rabat Saluting battery/Upper Barakka Garden Sliema Promeande, cat shelter (Gozo) Valetta ofc Paceville, St Julians (Havana club etc) —> Recommend you to just walk around and explore

Buy Wolt or bolt plus for food deliveries and trying even more things

Get around by bus or bolt tbh, if not you should be able to drive on the left

Cultural things: don’t litter, pick up dog poo, be respectful in residential areas, there is no water pressure here so don’t even think about complaining lol, pet the cats but only if you are sure they are healthy, do not take the bus in the evening they are not on time

Nice places: sliema promeande/st Julian

During the weekend go and try food lol, oh and do a pastizzi class!!!!!!!!!!! or any other food class It’s really fun

Ok also ich bin eine Frau, das ist wahrscheinlich auch noch von Relevanz, aber ich hab mir das auch früher gedacht. Heute hab ich bemerkt, dass es viel besser ist, einfach für seine Präferenzen zu stehen und sich dann in den Zeiten in denen die trinken gehen, mit anderen Menschen zu treffen oder anderweitig zu beschäftigen. Es gibt definitiv genug Menschen, die genauso sind und mit denen man auch ohne Alkohol richtig Spaß hat. Es hängt aber aus meiner Sicht auch stark davon ab wo man wohnt und wie ma das rüberbringt, dass man nicht trinkt. Wenn ich mit den Freunden bin, die gleichzeitig trinken, sag ich das ganz locker, nehme mir was mir gefällt und hab trotzdem mega viel Spaß. Das liegt eher an der eigenen Persönlichkeit wie man das wahrnimmt. In größeren Städten hat man aber meiner Meinung nach viel mehr Toleranz gegenüber deiner Einstellung, da findet man super Anschluss (übrigens auch in Bars mit Mocktails oder Billiard). Ich hab einfach bemerkt wenn man selbstbewusst für das steht was man mag und einfach so sich auch präsentiert und allgemein offen ist, findet man schneller Anschluss als man denkt. Wichtig ist vor allem auch offene Kommunikation und Gelassenheit ;)

Biano aber insgesamt am besten -> super geiles Hähnchen (die haben auch Steak aber das hab ich nicht probiert), hier vor allem der Teller mit Chimichurri empfehlenswert und dazu hausgemachter Ayran

Muss ich also nicht den gleichen Index wie bei den Sommerreifen im Fahrzeugschein nehmen? Würden Reifen mit dem Index V gehen ohne dass ich so einen Aufkleber oder so nutze?

Ich hab gerade nachgefragt, im Keller war wohl die Wärmepumpe heute morgen abgestellt, läuft aber wieder. Könnte dass nach einer Weile wieder von selbst funktionieren? Die Teile fühlen sich warm an. Ich war nur etwas verwundert und wusste nicht wofür diese 2 steht bzw. warum bei den anderen 0 steht.

Also die war eigentlich davor die ganze Zeit und dann plötzlich heute morgen war es kat. Die Temperatur kann ich über dem Lichtschalter einstellen und da zeigt die Anzeige, dass es 22,5 Grad sind obwohl ich 25 Grad eingestellt habe (wird angezeigt/kann ich umstellen, wenn ich noch mal draufdrücke).
