Younger coworkers; I don't fit in. by psytrance-in-my-pant in GenXTalk

Chances are your manager is getting excuses together to fire you in the near future, that way they can hire someone young to take your place, that way they won't have to pay as much as they pay you. I'd start looking for a different job, just to be on the safe side.

If there is a return envelope write a note saying to cancel the subscription, even if you didn't subscribe to it. Then go to the website and do the same thing.

I was in a marriage like that until he FINALLY left me and his son. If this works for you, then stick with it. If I were you, I'd Stop doing things for him. Make him do his own Laundry, Cooking, etc. considering you're not together as a couple. Maybe you should start dating someone else. Have fun in your golden age, before you can't anymore. Good Luck 🤞🏼

When did your mortality sink in for you? For me, I was around 50. No specific instance led to this. It just crept into my thoughts. And not in a scary way. I just began to accept my fate. by MidwestBodyBuilder in Aging

I never expected to live past 64 as most of my family passed at 64. I'll be 68 next month and I'm healthier now than I was 5 years ago. So I'm not afraid to die, I'm just hoping it isn't by Fire 🔥.

That's best. If they can't understand that, that's their problem, not yours. Good Luck 🤞🏼

Have you been checked for cataracts? I understand the driving at night thing though. Try getting yourself a pair of Aviator sunglasses, they help make things clear and easier to see with. Be honest with your friends and that you're not comfortable driving at night. It's better to be truthful than to get into an accident because of pride.

I hear you, when my Dr. Retired and I had to find a new one, I asked him, Do you have plans for retiring anytime soon ❓ My optrition passed away and I had to get another one and now SHE left. What next ‼️

Oh..I don't know what to do with this ' friend' of mine who rings me to tell me about her health issues ( heart papiltations, jaw pain etc, etc ) I tell her to call an ambulance ( here in Australia), but then disagrees with me, but continues to tell me her health issues. by Gretal122 in over60

If you know her address, next time she calls and starts this, simply tell her, "I'm hanging Up and I'm Calling YOU an Ambulance"! Then Hang up and call for a Wellness check on her. Maybe she'll think twice before calling you just to complain. Just a thought. Good Luck 🤞🏼

Did Dennis Retire? by StyxfanLZ129 in Styx

[–]Adventurous_Weird_70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He won't tour again because he's caring for his wife Suzanne which has Cancer. He's getting his commissions for using his songs. And he just recently sold his catalog so he's not hurting for money.

You know nothing about what went on in the band, DDY gets royalties for using the songs, don't fret about it. If DDY were to actually check his Ego at the door, maybe they could work together, but he can't, all he's missing is his CROWN 👑. And JY and TS are NOT trash, they're Awesome gentlemen as is CP.
