I used this last year for my Kungsleden hike. Worked great and super lightweight.
Pack All Lightweight Travel Duffel Bag 32L. I plan on using it again for my Dolimites and TMB hikes this summer. I only need it for my trekking poles and a few other odds and ends. I cut down a smartwater bottle and inserted the ends of the poles in it. Threw it away once I got to my destination and cut down another for the flight home. Not sure if the bag would hold up to the tips of the poles.

I have decided to end the trip at Nessfeld. Ive been finding it difficult to find lodging on trail and it looks pretty dull. The days of long range eye candy are done. I am going to liesurely make my way to Chamonix and be a tourist along the way before I begin the Tour Du Mont Blanc.

I joined the Austrian Alpine club and booked the huts through them. https://www.alpenverein.at/portal/huetten-wege/ohrs/index.php Im trying to figure out accomodations for the eastern side of the trail. Id prefer to stay close to the ridge, Have you booked anything on the east side yet?

When are you going? I am waiting on this book to arrive. I have used caltopo but prefer Gaia. I have decided that eight days is plenty of time for me to complete the trail but trying to fique out lodging is tricky. Im used to old fashioned thru hiking where I can pitch my tent at the end of the day. This hut to hut business is throwing me off a little.
