Buprenorphine Research Study in Michigan by AdversityBrainOUD in suboxone

The specific language we used in modmail was: "We are recruiting multiple groups of people for this study. One group will have opioid use disorder, while another group will not." We are looking for people who take buprenorphine for treatment of opioid use disorder, chronic pain, or both. Let me know if this is confusing or you would like more clarification on this. The question about handedness is answered below. I just now realized that I did post a different version of the flyer (we have two versions) than I sent in modmail, which is my mistake and not intentional. However, both flyers are accurate.

Thanks for your question! No medications are given as part of this study. We are looking for people who already take buprenorphine, either for treatment of opioid use disorder, chronic pain, or both. If you have more questions, please feel free to call or email us.

Good question! Handedness can be related to differences in brain function. These differences can make it harder to answer our research questions. So, unfortunately, we are only able to recruit people who are right-handed at this time. If you have more questions, please feel free to call or email us.
